I think you can either hold down the space bar (not sure) or how I do it... use the right mouse button... click and hold, pull the stick back and release mouse button. Good luck. I'll play you sometime.

left mouse hold it down to aim right mouse hold and pull mouse back then let go of the button it will shoot

You left click and hold the button down while moving the mouse to move the stick right click and hold down and pull down for your power and release to hit the ball.
