Question:

How do i hit the center of the target with a rifle scope?

example: i shoot around and its hits 2 inch below the target, the scope is 1/4" 100 yd, clinks i need to hit the target.

  1. Zero it in at 50 yards first, then shoot it again at 100 yards and make the necessary adjustment.*


  2. If you're two inches low at 100 yards, then in theory eight clicks up should get you there. If you're shooting at a different range, then you'll have to do the math. It's the sort of math you should be able to handle if you're out of grammar school, so I have confidence you'll figure it out.

  3. Take the scope off the rifle and throw it very carefully.

  4. 8 clicks down at a hundred

    down will cause you to raise the barrel up

  5. Depending on the what the rifle is, Id make it hit about 1.5 to 2" high at a 100 to compemsate for bullet drop. Thats jsut what I do for my hunting rifle. Puts me dead on at 300 for that caliber.
