How do i hook my ps2 slim to the internet using a laptop?

My computer is on my first floor but the ps2 slim is in the basement. I have any an ethernet cord, wireless router, a desktop computer, and a laptop computer . With that being said i cannot move the router from my desktop because of secuirity purposes.

You can use Internet Connection Sharing on the laptop if it has a wireless connection to the router, then run the ethernet cable from laptop to PS2.  Another option is to buy a gaming adapter that is a wireless to ethernet bridge for the PS2.
