How do i hook my vcr up to my stereo reciever...its a Yamaha HTR-580 and i just want to know were to hook it! I have a little 19in tv so it only has 1 red yellow and white slot! Plz help!!!

Connect cables from the audio out jacks of your VCR to the aux inputs of your receiver.

what is the model of the VCR? or I suspect you have a combo unit that may not have an output.

there labeled ont he back of the VCR. audio out and audio in. more then likely the red and yellow is the audio in and out. usually on that type of old stuff the s***w in cable is the video feed to the TV. but u will need either a red,yellow,and white 3 prong adiou video cord and just use the 2 red and yellow or get a red and yellow 2 prong cord and hook it up that way.

i have a yamaha receiver and on the back has the red yellow audio spots so you shouldnt have a problem seeing what goes where... Good Luck man!
