How do i hook up 24 volt trolling motor to the batteries??

I think i have it hooked up right but i just want to double check!

Use a voltmeter to check your wiring job if you are not sure.

Check it at the motor leads,  should read 24 volts on the black and red wires to the motor.

Hook the negative motor wire to the negative post of battery one.

Hook a connecting wire from positive battery one to negative of battery two.

Hook positive motor wire to positive post of battery two.
