How do i hook up my 360 to my laptop?

Question

so i can transfer all my songs to the hdd so i can play them while i play madden?

What kinda cable to i need? a usb a to a? i cant find one newhere, links would help. could an ethernet cable do it?

It depends what kind of network you have. If you connect to the internet wirelessly, you just need to connect your 360 to your network with a wireless network adapter (available at GameStop, Best Buy, Circuit City). After you have you 360 configured for your network (go to System, and then Network Settings) go to Media and then choose Music or Movies and it will ask you what computer on your network you'd like to get music from and then you choose your laptop. You need an ethernet cable, though I have never tried a usb.  The only thing wrong with this is that you cant transfer music from your computer to your 360 and need to keep it plugged in for the entire time you want to listen to your music and you can only play online if you have a wireless adapter.
