How do i hook up my Sony stereo to my box 360?

is this just through the rca cables?  I would try a different input on your stereo (like phono) and see if that works out for you.

At the very begining of the cable, right where it plugs into the xbox, is a little black box typed thing, with a little door typed thing. Haha. Well if your stereo has one of those as well, you can just get an optical cable from radio shack or some other electronics store. This should take care of your problem. And you will have exceptional sound quality from this cable.
