How do i hook up my lap top to my tv to play dvds i have a s vidio cable?

  1. If your computer has a S-Video input and your TV has a S-Video input just use that.  After that, just go into your display settings and extend your desktop onto the second monitor.


  2. Am pretty sure that the S-Video cable is only

    good for the video portion.  You will still have

    to run the L/R audio jacks for sound I believe.

    At least I had to do that when hooking up my

    DVD recorder to the TV.
