How do i import videos from my JVC GZ-MG360 camcorder, onto my mac?

  1. The MG-360 is an Everio G camcorder that creates MPEG-2 format files on hard disc in the camera. How you handle them depends on what type of Mac you have and what operating system it uses. If you have got a newer Intel Mac and you are running OS10.5 Leopard then you should have no problem connecting up using USB and importing. But if it is not a OSX machine then it will be more of a problem. You could drag the .MOD files into the computer and then convert them in a free programme called MPEG Srreamclip (google it) and this will convert the clips into a &quot;DV Stream&quot; format that earlier versions of iMovie will understand.
