Question:

How do i improve my sprinting skills further?

i love to run and im one of the fastest in my school. its great to be good and all but i feel i can go faster. when i run i hit a wall where i want to go faster im not tired but i can't move my legs faster. i don't train yet but am going to star.

  1. Well, i was pretty good at running so I joined track! You should try it, you can do a lot of different sprinting things!


  2. Ha, I like your optimism, but don't get ahead of yourself. That means that you're not training well enough. I sprint, and you can do exercises where you run on a 400m track jogging the curves and sprinting the straightaways. Do that until you pretty much pass out, then continue that routine. I cut 4 seconds off my 200m time like that.

  3. That would mean you have excellent endurance.  Try keeping up that speed for a mile.  If you can, you will probably break some records for track in your area.  Good luck!

  4. when you train put some type of weght around your ankle so ur used to the heaveyness then when its time to race your legs will feel so much lighter and just explode
