Question:

How do i improve my writing speed?

I got poor marks in a maths exam because i didn't write the answers quick enough. The exam stopped and i had 2 pages left to do.

My teacher thinks i'm a maths genius, and i would get really high marks if i could improve my writing speed. I too believe this.

I got every question that i did within the time i had in the exam, correct, unfortunately, my handwriting skills fail on me.

  1. write long hand, not big enough slightly diagonal, practice

  2. you should do many exercises in home and try to respect the time in this

for example an easy exercise 5 minutes...

    good luck

  3. Practice.  Cursive would be faster than print once it is mastered.  You lift the pen less when writing in cursive.  You don't need to work too much on neat handwriting, just legibility.

  4. Don't be afraid to write messy. But keep it readable, keep a tight grip on the pencil and just write.

Ask your teacher if you don't have to write in handwriting but just little kid

    Good Luck!

  5. The time thing probably has nothing to do with your writing speed. Unless you are writing one word a minute, you probably just don't figure out the problems fast enough....

  6. I haven't heard of a situation such as yours before. With mathematics, there isn't as much writing, as, say in english, it's mostly number orientated. I think maybe you should simply just practice trying to write faster.

    Wish you luck!
