Question:

How do i increase my energy levels?

I feel so lazy, i could sleep for upto 15 hr no problems. I cant be bothered doing anyting these days unless i want to. If i have to i have no will power to force myself to do it.

Please help me, i need the advice....

  1. If you want a fast pick me up any caffeine product will help. However, the crash after this pick me up is worse. Taking 600 to 1200mg of Magnesium and the same for Vitamin D was my doctor's recommendation. B complex vitamins are always good.

    A natural help for depression is St Johns Wort.


  2. What you just listed are classic symptoms of depression.

    try to find things that you are interested in, get more exercise and start smiling at people.

    A little laughter will go a long way to alleviate your depression.


  3. Three easy things you could do:

    1.) Change of diet - out with the junk, in with anything healthy.  No artificial flavours/colours, refined sugars, junk food and less salt.

    Eat anything that is natural - fruit, veg, water, some meat, chicken and fish.  If it's man-made, stay away from it.

    2.) Exercise - start with simple walking for a couple of minutes, then move on to more and more vigorous exercises.  Those using your own body weight are the best (look up Hindu pushups or Hindu squats for an example). Buy a bicycle or go swimming or anything really.  You could take up a dance class.

    3.) Positive Mind Set - you must change your mindset.  This is the one things that prevents you from doing anything.  Instead of saying "I can't...", rather say "Of course I can..."  It's only in your mind that things are impossible or difficult.  In reality, anything is possible.

    My favourite thing is to say "I feel fantastic" - breathe in, exhale and say "I feel fantastic" and feel this feeling flow through you from head to toe.

  4. NO ENERGY DRINKS!!! Definitely more B vitamins. My mom puts these little things called chia seeds in her yogurt. Yes, they're the same chia seeds from the commercials, and they really work. LOOK AT THE LINK AND READ THE WHOLE THING!!!

  5. Red Bull.   You need some vitamins, maybe B ones.  You need to change your diet.  You may be low in iron too.

    See a health food store for help or call your doctor.
