How do i install Pioneer DEH-P2500 into an older car with different wire colors?

HU---Pioneer DEH-P2500

Car---1996 Mercury Mystique

I've spent 3 days tryin to figure this out. I did i t beofre but i do not remember how, it wuz in a similar car, Ford Contour. (POS) but anywayyzz the wires on the older car are completely differen t form the wores on the newer HU and me and my people are set on just goin to buy another wire harness (we cut the orignals). Before i rewire the originals and go buy new harnesses i wanna know the color codes and how u do this?????????????

Most electronics stores sell wiring harness's that make life so much easier. They match the color code of the car and you just plug right in.

To late now, I imagine he has cut the factory harness out.
