How do i install a firing pin into my ak47?

Turn around, put pin between bum cheeks, smack ak-47 onto pin and pray it works

Pretty easily...

Of course make sure the gun is empty (i'd say keep it on "safe" but you cant do what i'm about to tell you with the rifle on safe).

Take off the dust cover that sits on top of the receiver.

Push the spring along with the part that connects it to the receiver towards the front of the rifle and remove.

Pull the bolt carrier and operating rod housing to the rear of the rifle and pull up.

The bolt and extractor is the loose piece of the carrier assembly. It will twist about 90 degrees and should come free of the carrier.

There is a small pin that goes through the body of the bolt that needs to be removed. This holds the firing pin in place. Once you get that out, the firing pin should slip right out the rear of the bolt.

Here is a picture of the bolt of an AK. #4 is the hole where the pin you need to remove goes. #9 is the pin you take out, and "b" is of course the firing pin.
