I currently don't have any anti virus system on my computer and i think i have viruses as my computer is running strange. I used to use Avg free edition and had no problems down loading it the last time but i removed it. This time when i tried to down load it it gets right to the end and then says my vista system is not fully up to date and i need to install a vista patch. Not sure how to go about it exactly without some advice as i don't want to do something i shouldn't. Sorry for the essay and thanks in advance.

  1. Try Avast Home Edition.

It  is better than AVG and it is less annoying.

It is a very effective anti-virus program.

  2. Well, do you have Vista? If not, I don't understand why AVG or anything else would say something about your "Vista not being up to date." If you have Vista, does it download updates to your computer like XP has done? If so, do you have all the updates?

Oh well, get something that WILL work. You certainly need to have antivirus on your computer. To be without it is asking for BIG trouble. Get Avast 4 Home, it's totally compatible with Vista.
