  1. Go to the web site of your audio card,  e.g. the makers name, there you should be able to download the drivers for your audio.

  2. Your question is too vague. Did the driver come with an installation program? If if did then just double click on the Installation Program. If you just have the driver but no installation program then you need to go to your control panel, click on System, then go to hardware and install it there.

If you need to download a driver then go to your computer manufacturers website and find the drivers for your Model of Computer.

If you need more help, send me an e mail. Service@XtremePowerComputers.com

  3. Go to device manager and properties of the sound device.

Select update driver and install from a specific location where your audio drivers are located.

  4. its is actually really easy, go to google type in sound drivers download and it should be the first one click on it and begin to download, follow the instructions it tells you from there. thats what i did

  5. take your Motherboard CD and install the driver from there.

Once you insert the CD of your motherboard you should have the install options available default.

Else visit your motherboard manufaturer site, if you want to know what is your motherboard make then download free software from Belarc.com and it will give you the details of it and then visit the site and download

  6. Windows will normally auto update your drivers  and find replacements.

  7. hi mabe

installing a audio driver on your p.c is much the same as installing any other driver such as a video driver or printer driver

first you need to do a few pre-checks before installing the driver, and the first is to check you have enabled the onboard audio in the bios, you will find this by restarting the pc and pressing the delete key to enter the setup(bios) program and then go to intergrated peripherals>onboard pci device setup>then make sure the onboard audio is enabled, also check for any other audio related settings such as ac-97 audio, again this must be enabled, then before you leave the bios remember to press "save and exit setup" to save any changes you have made to the cmos...your p.c will now restart

locating your sound driver can be a real pain, however the easiest method is to first look for the name and model number of your p.c,this can then be used to locate your pc manufactuers website, and then you can go to their support section and there should be driver downloads there, and dont worry the downloads will be seperate sections for each type of hardware(audio, video, network ect)

download the file, and if the file is compressed it may need a program like win-zip(http://www.winzip.com/downwz.htm) to uncompress the file, then you can install the file by executing the setup.exe file

after installing the sound driver it will only work after a restart so this is needed before you can hear the sound

and thats it,most driver installations are much the same way as i have described here, however its allways best to read any "release notes" issued by the manufacturer, these will inform you on any particular problems with specific hardware

i hope this helps, however any problems let me know

                      good luck mabe   !
