How do i install curtuan rods to the ceiling?

i'm planning on making my own bed canopy. i saw a website with a picture of curtian rods on the ceiling... but they didn't say how to install them! can anyone help me?! i need it to be fairly easy, as i am not proficient with home projects.. or tools.. lol. thanks in advance!

  1. Go to a hardware store or Home Depot.

    Explain what you want to do to the guy there.

    They'll show you the kind of fasteners you need.


  2. Why not use J hooks with anchors or right into the studs

    a J hook is a metal hook with threads on one side that looks like a J

    drywall anchors are either plastic or metal that the J hook will s***w into usually if you putting them into drywall
