You should be able to put them together with Windows Movie Maker.

You don't... the video is already interlaced when you are shooting normal consumer camcorders... they are typically 60i (interlaced) or 30 frames per second. (Actually, 29.97 fps.)

If you want progressive frame shooting, you need to capture the video using a camcorder that does progressive frame capture like the Canon HV20 or HV30...
