To invite people to your group go to: "Invite" on your group's homepage and it will take you to a text box where you can put the Yahoo ID or the e-mail of a person.  Then click "Send".

You can send up to 100 invites per day.

You must be an Owner or Moderator of the Yahoo Group to invite people to it.  If you are, then click on Invite on the left-hand side of your Group's web page.  Then enter the Yahoo IDs or e-mail addresses of the people you want to invite, one per line, in the first box.  In the second box, enter an introductory message saying why you think they should join the Group.  Don't forget to click the Submit Invite button (towards the lower-right-hand corner) when you're done.
