  1. that depends on the club. why don't u ask them?

  2. just call and ask

  3. Normally you'd approach the club itself - the pro shop will be a good place to start.  Ask them what the process is for joining.  They may say that you need to be nominated and seconded by existing members - this being the case, it'll be down to whether you know anyone or not.

If they don't require nomination, it's just a case of signing on the dotted line and paying your subscription fees.

The other possibility of 2 club members being needed would be for your first club handicap.  In order to get a club handicap, you'd normally have to submit 2-3 scorecards signed by club members - this is then used for your initial handicap.

    Hope this helps.

  4. it depends on what club you want to join... At mine it isn't like that but idk... Ask one of the people who work there... Their answer is way more relaible than this

  5. Go to whatver club you want to join and walk inside the pro shop and ask how to join.

  6. The process of taking out a membership at a golf club varies widely.

The best thing to do is to talk to someone at the course.  Examples of people who might help you would be the following:

The starter, the club pro, the assistant pro, the membership chairman, the home secretary (keep in mind these positions may not exist at some courses).

Don't be afraid to ask questions; it's perfectly legitimate to ask "what is the process of becoming a member?"  Right now many private clubs need young members; in some cases young members (under 25/under 30) received discounted dues and other concessions.

  7. First of all, do you want to join a private club or public club ? At a private club you will fill in an application, get the appropriate number of sponsors who are presently club members, put down a partial down payment  get referred to the Membership Chairman, interviewed and accepted. Then you will pay the balance of the initiation fee and monthly membership dues. The chairman will introduce you to the staff, the pros and perhaps some members and the deed is done. At a public course you will most likely go through the pro shop fill in an application, confirm residency in the town, pay the dues and you should be accepted. Whether there is a restriction depends upon the town policy. The third membership is at a semi-private course usually owned by an individual or association where one pays a yearly fee for which he gets playing priveledges and selected starting times. He is given first choice on times but must book a certain number of days in advance. If not, he goes into the pool like any other golfer wishing to play and will be given times at the discretion of the club.
