How do i keep a praying mantis alive?

I just cought this bug and i don't know what they eat or like?

Haha I remember keeping one for a pet. I fed it grasshoppers, and beef jerky...Until it died becuase someone threw rocks at it..

i used to have a praying mantis

i hand-fed it live house flies

i just held the fly by its wings and offered it to the mantis

then it would grab the fly right from my fingers

and eat it like it was an apple *:)

they eat other bugs, lots of different bugs, but they like to catch them

Keep it in a terrarium  with plenty of cover so the mantis can hide. Feed it live bugs such as flies, beetles, bees, etc. You may find it easier to culture them.
