How do i keep coyotes out of my garden at night time? They eat all my watermelons and canolope. please do not mention a fence or using urine. They dont come out in the day time. but they come out doing the night.we dont hear them when they come. I need help! thank you

  1. Instead of having to go through the expense of a fence, why not try tying cans or cowbells to string and string it alongside your garden. Maybe the noise will scare them off.  


  2. Coyotes are sly. Remember that Wylie dude? They can easily jump a 6' fence.

    Any kind of food attracts them. Cats, rabbits, rodents, pet food and yes your melons.

    Fear of humans is the only fence that will keep them out. You have to make loud noises, throw things and maybe squirt them with the garden hose.

  3. are you sure they are coyotes? Have you seen the footprints? Anyway, the first thing I would get is motion sensor lights, whenever the coyote's are "singing" their opera/yodels behind my house, and I shine a flashlight on them, they shut up or hide, so that would be the first thing I would try.
