  1. Get a dog


  2. learn to love them

  3. carry a gun

  4. get a dog or a cat and cover it up maybe!

  5. Stretch a net across the pool; or criss-cross ropes on or just below the surface. This is very frustrating for ducks.

    You might also try floating inflated animals in the pool (sort of doing the work of a scarecrow).
