  1. you can straiten it and then you can put some hairspray(non-sticky).hold the hairspray like 4-6 inches from ur hair so it wound bacome really hard....................hope it helped!

  2. I have long curly hair that is very frizzy and when i straighten it i blow dry my hair first not brushing through it i find that makes it frizzier. i then use my straightener and i start in very small sections. i will put all my hair up except about an inch layer on the bottom. i brush that out with a fine tooth comb or a bohr brush to keep it smooth then i straighten that. then take down a little more and do it all again. its ok if you go over some of the hair you just did it will only make it straighter. if you have to go over the hair 5 times or more with the straighter its ok. just do this to your whole head until your done.

for me i find that when i use a product in my hair it sometimes makes it look dirty and i don't have greasy hair at all. also when i use product with the straightener it smells like burning stuff and it will leave a residue on my straightener.

  3. what i do is straighten your hair and then spray hair spray into your hands and rub it on the ends of your hair. keep re aplying it all day. ;]

  4. In high school it doesn't really matter if your hair is straight or not!

Beachy waves are in and they look gorgeous.

  5. 1. Use a straightening gel.

    2. Get a good straightener, since not only does it do less damage(more technology that cheaper ones), it does a great job.

    3. Spritz a light hairspray.

  6. i have super frizzy, super thick completely unmanageable hair that is between wavy and curly AND I LIVE IN FLORIDA, which is really humid 90% of the time... i used to go to a hair salon every other week just to get my hair straight for two days... i was completely miserable with my hair... then i started to watch what the stylist was doing... now, the key thing is the type of flat iron you have... i have tried so many different types of hair straighteners from revlon, to other professional types and nothing worked... then i finally found my chi. it is really a miracle thing... lol. i know it sounds weird but it is my lifesaver.

items you need for straightening your hair against frizz are:

    - a straightener (preferably chi for best results)

    - a straightening syrum (I use Garnier Fructis Sleek&Shine... it comes in a little round green bottle, and can be found in the hair product section at practically any store)

    -a brush... (type doesn't really matter--but i use a paddle brush)

    - a hair tie...

another key thing is, if your hair starts to frizz is getting a setting spray.... this can also be found at beauty supply stores and at salons...

okay, i forgot to say... LET YOUR HAIR AIR DRY!!!! i never use a blowdryer because it adds unnecessary heat and damage to your hair... i mean, if it's an emergency and you need your hair dry real quickly, then i guess it's okay, but what i do is i take a shower at night, or in the early evening and straighten my hair first thing in the morning.... but the more heat you add to your hair, the more it will frizz... okay now that we have that out of the way..... seperate your hair into at least 4 sections starting with the bottom... with this bottom layer, you should only get hair from the back, not the sides if done properly... then, tie the top part of your hair in the hair tie... next, brush through the hair and make sure all the tangles are out.... then take a half of a dime sized squirt of the hair syrum and rub your hands together. run your fingers through your hair, your hands will still be oily, so you might want a towel to wipe your hands off... then, take your hair straightener that should be hot by now, and clamp it shut at the top of your hairs, by the scalp of your head... make sure you get as close as you can to the scalp, otherwise the roots of your hair will be frizzy and mess up your goal look. use the straightener like you would brush your hair, clamp it down at the top, hold it shut, and move it down, do the whole layer your on like you were just brushing your hair, in fast motions, and then make sure it looks straight enough, if you see a certain section that needs a little more attention, go back to it and move the straightener down it slow to make sure it gets real straight, then spray a couple spritz of the setting spray and move on... next, let the next layer down, the layer right above your ears and then the next layer *repeat* and then the next..... after you are all finished, you can brush through it really quick to release the setting spray and it should last all day (if not two days!)

sorry if this seems complicated, i was just trying to be real detailed... i hope this helps :) good luck!

also, get a really good shampoo and conditioner, i use herbal essences dangerously straight and it is awesome and smells really good too :) another key point to clean and soft hair is to leave the conditioner in your hair for like 5 minutes before you rinse, and try to rinse with lukewarm water if you can stand it....  good luck... :)

  7. try cutting it and then straightening it go to this website and look at the homepage where it says strraight hair tips

  8. I am a hair designer and I would prescribe a wonderful product called 'anti-humectant' by Aveda.  This will literally keep your hair from going wavy.  Don't use your wavy cream.  I also have wavy/curly hair and straighten it and use the anti humectant.  My hair stays straight for three days.

Go to this web page to find the environmentally friendly Aveda products:

Good luck and happy school and hair days.
