How do i keep my hens quiet?

my 2 hens always squak very loadly when they lay their eggs. my neighbors have reported the noise and i will have to get rid of them if i cant keep them quiet. how do i do this???

way would you have to get ride off hen's if there talking?

thats like getting ride off a dog whan he borkes or geting ride of a human whan they talk



try this way there talking spray them with water and your neighbors are stupid

whan you get a chanes get your neighbors back like if they have a pet and its noisy than do what they did.

Of course they will squak when laying eggs. Don't you think you would also if an eag was coming out of your body. Ever been thru Child Birthing? Similiar

I feel the exact same way Your neighbors sound  very Grumpy and intolerant people! Of course they squawk they are telling the world they have laid and egg and for god's sake it only happens once a day tell your neighbors to cool it. . . and tell them

"if you don't stop talking they should move" =) see how they feel

perhaps bribe them with the promise  of a few tasty eggs inn return to have to put up with a TINY amount of noise everyday =)

you could also try *letting your hens out earlier

              and      * covering their coop (don't cut of ventilation of course)

but you can't get hens to be quiet and why should they have to be?

It's like being prosecuted for talking!!
