ALL my pants/jeans/sweatpants/pajamas/ALL MY BOTTOMS become shorter after i wash them! they seriously are highwaters and it's so embarassing, since i'm sitting at a desk at work! maybe it's cuz HOW i wash them. i wash them under permanent press, and the wash is warm water and the rinse is cold water. should i use other water temperatures?

  1. wash in cold, and hang dry

  2. Alot of my shirts do that. But i dry all my clothes in the washer. Sometimes that  makes them shrink. I would just let them air dry.

  3. buy atleast a size larger. and always wash clothes in cold or warm water and the ones I don't want to shrink put them on a very low dryer setting just for a short time and then on an indoor drying rack.... the shrinking comes from the tumbling action of the washer and dryer.

  4. Wash in cold water and hang dry for the first few times. My shirts do the same thing, and I can't stand it!
