How do i keep my taskbar from disappearing?

I have an Hp Pavillion6000 and everytime i go into my computer and try to unistall programs or anything in that section it kicks me out and the taskbar at the bottom disappears and i cant ge it back without restarting my laptop.

Try locking it. Right click then click lock the Taskbar

right click on the taskbar, select properties, make sure that "auto-hide" is deselected then hit apply/ok.

the other possibility is that explorer is shutting down when you do the uninstall. to start it up again:  hold down the "windows" button (between alt and ctrl  by the spacebar) and press R. that will give you the "run" dialogue box. type in explorer.exe and hit ok.
