  1. Don't deprive yourself of sleep! Get at least 8 hours each night. You could drink coffee or cola...anything with caffeine, but don't overdo it. Sometimes too much caffeine can cause palpitations and they're awful! Write yourself a timetable that includes when you're going to study, what you're going to study and for how long. It helps you to be more organized and you'll get more work done if you have a checklist. If you feel lethargic, you could take a break and go for a short walk outside. I find that gives me energy. Eat regularly to keep your blood sugar levels up and do the most difficult stuff first so, when you're tired, there will only be the things that require the least concentration.

    Good luck with your exams!

  2. Well if u need to study, at night best thing to do would be taking breaks ever 45 minutes to 1hr . Coz after every such period u'll tend to feel sleepy. take a 15 minute break after every time span and drink a lil ice cold water, of have a fruit or even listen to music and calm ur brain. that way u get freshn after every burst of concetrated work and u retain more of what you read.

Mantain concentration by not thinking about how ur staying awake even tho its time to sleep.

have a very light dinner. Avoid coffe if you can. it does more damage than harm.

If you DO feel the need, have a cuppa and take a half an hour nap immediately after drinking. acocording to some article i read, the efficiency is thrice the normal if u take that nap.

  3. g how i keep my self awake is either drinkin and energy drink or stay on the computer or sumething fun

  4. Have s*x.

  5. Normally I would say don't keep yourself awake at night. If you really must, do jumping jacks if you find yourself wanting to fall asleep. And caffeine. But really, study during the day and get a good night's sleep.

  6. one thing is, dont trying staying up late, just try to get up early and utilise your day to the maximum.

or if you really need to stay awake, then you better have some high energy drink or snacks that have alot of proteins or stuff. that stuff will keep you awake for a long time. Or try doing some low intensity workouts until you just brek a sweat, then you can stop and continue studying, im sure u'll feel awake

  7. drink coffee!

  8. You need 9 hours of sleep a night if you're a teenager, 8 if you're adult.

If you are not getting that, then it's your body screaming at you to give it the rest it needs.

You will function better in the daytime if you rest at night.  Listen to your body.  It will thank you and reward you with better grades.

  9. What I did when I was in college was learn my best times of day.  From about noon to 10 p.m. I had a difficult time studying.  I was distracted by what was going on around me.  It was not a good thing.  I had to become a vampire.  I tried to schedule my classes early in the morning, and later on at night 7-10.  From midnight on, I was on the ball.  I could type an entire paper in one 8 hour shift, providing I had done all the research I needed before hand.  I also found my chapter readings seeped in much better.  That made studying for my exams easier.  Of course, I had to work a p.m. job, like bar tending or waiting tables.  It was weird, but everyone has a different time of day when they are most productive.

  10. interest yourself in ur hobbies and coffee

  11. If you must, drink a shot or two of Cuban coffee! My best advice would be to study during the day and get a good night's rest.

  12. The best thing to do is to make proper use of your day, not skimp on sleep. Researchers have studied this and your IQ DROPS when you are sleep deprived, which makes you less able to understand and remember, which would require you to spend more time studying.

Get proper sleep and plan your day properly and you'll do a lot better. As for staying focused, having set goals (even things like, "For the next 30 minutes, I'm going to work on math and not let anything distract me") helps, as does using timers, taking adequate breaks, etc. Giving yourself little "rewards", like 15 minutes of computer play (have to use that timer!) can also help. If you don't take enough breaks, you'll burnout and won't be able to do your work as well.
