  1. Try taking hair from a groomed dog and spreading it around on the ground. They smell dog and avoid the area. It works with rabbits too.

  2. Cayenne pepper

  3. I use several methods. Cayanne pepper sprinkled on the surface works well. Large Pine Cones in the beds or plastic forks stuck in with tines upward also make the mulch an "uncomfortable" place to do their "business".

  4. Trap them, your local Animal Control Shelter has humane traps...

  5. sneak out and shove there faces into there **** or p**s

    then strangle them

  6. Other posters have recommended cayenne pepper.  This is finely-powdered red pepper and is packs a very hot but harmless snootful if a cat sniffs it.

I have 9 cats and I use cayenne pepper to keep them from soiling my indoor plants.  The cayenne pepper will not harm your plants, even if it gets on the leaves or washes into the soil.  You will need to occasionally reapply the pepper, especially after a rain.

I have used cayenne pepper to repel a neighbor's 12 puppies, as well as an armadillo that destroyed an entire 20-foot flowerbed overnight.
