How do i keep stuff from being saved in the search box???

clear your browsing history-under tools click-delete browsing history

For Internet Explorer:Click on Tools. Then Internet Options. Click on Content and then Auto Complete. Then click on Clear Forms. This will erase your search history. If you don't want things showing up again in your search history then deselect the Auto Complete options at the top. Be sure to select apply or ok at the bottom.

Heres what i do

In the search area... click as if you are going to type something then press your down arrow key...then as you place your mouse over the prevoius typed in searches dont click on them just press delete when it it highlighted....Voila!
