How do i kill the lice and tick?

I have a dog that is full of dog lice on it's body. The problem is, the dog is outside of the house but there are many lice that crawling over inside my house. How do i kill them? Dog's shampoo and bycon aren't help. What should i do?

See a vet its a problem that a lot of people have with pets. Asfor the house the scrubbing brush hot water and disinfectant or pest control are the answer. You can get flea sprays so there may be something available at the vets or pet shop for the ones in the house.

Just buy a pet chimp.They love picking them and eating them.Free pet food and a lot of fun.If the chimp costs too much then I would resort to the appropriate shampoo.Have you  considered shaving your pet.It works for the guys that are balding and want to look hip,or maybe they had problems with lice also.It's a confusing world isn't it or is it just me.

Dogs have to be sterilized and men insecure.Enough philosophy.Buy the shampoo and keep the dog indoors.Alternative is let it roam and be a free spirit and stop wining.

FIRST you need to treat the dog!  Get a flea/tick drops they are available at most pet supply stores like PETSMART!  I use the ZODIAC brand they are inexpesive and they work!  You can also buy flea/tick shampoo but, it's not really necessary water kills fleas... While you are at the store be sure to pick up acouple of cheapie flea collars (to put in your vacuum bag/canister) and pick up some extra vac. bags if necessary.... Also pick up some baking soda a few boxes or even better a large bag it's NOT expensive and pick-up some iodized salt a big box/container.. .Mix them together in a ziploc bag.. Sprinkle mixture on carpet and let it sit overnight... The baking soda smothers live fleas and larve and the salt dissolves the eggs!  PLUS it's a great deoderizer and the salt draws out dirt/oils trapped in the carpet... You'll see the following day it will vacuum up GREY!  If you have vacuum cleaner bags you'll want to vacuum and dispose of bag in the garage or freeze or burn...!  Vacuuum everyday for at least the next month or so.... A recent study by OHIO STATE UNIVERSITY suggested that merely vacuuming on a daily basis will dramatically reduce the number of active adult fleas.... Vacuum bedding throughly as well.  Or any other surface your pet sleeps on.  

Bathe your dog I use DAWN dishwashing liquid the blue stuff!  It does a GREAT job of killing fleas and it's CHEAP... Just be careful of the dogs eyes/ears... Let it sit for a few minutes the longer the better!  Rinse throughly- apply drops per package directions..

To check for fleas you can leave a white shallow dish out with about 1 inch of water and add 1-2 drops of dishwashing liquid... Shine a desk lamp on it on the floor.. The fleas are drawn to the warm liquid jump in a drown!
