How do i know i can sing?

Find a band that is playing somewhere and ask them to let you sing with them... most bands will let you try.. and if they don't laugh you off the stage after the first 10 bars you may be pretty good... if they let you finish the whole song you are even better and if they let you sing another song, then you must be pretty good.

i dont recommending singing in front of friends beause they r gonna tell you that your good because they dont wanna hurt your feelings. just audition for shool plays for singing parts and if you get the part, your good, if you dont, your bad.

build up your confidence and try singing infront of ur closest mates and ask them there opinion. Hope it helps. Were doing the play of Joseph at my school and I had to audition in front of 90 people and sing Any Dream Will Do. I got the part as Joseph:)
