How do i know if i have damp in my property?

i moved into my property two years ago and there has been a consistant problem with mould. i would just like to know if there is someone that is able to tell me whether there is a damp problem in my home and what should be done about it as i have a 3 year old daughter and i am worried it may be affecting her health.

''a consistant problem with mould''?...... wherever there's mold, there's 'damp'..... it's not hard to find.... under a sink, where there might be a water leak.... in the basement where it might leak when it rains.... the base of the toilet.... around the shower stall.. the floor around the bathtub.... stains on the ceiling where a roof is leaking.... walls where the cold air condenses from a window draft.... rotting window sills.... rotting door sills..... they are all places to look and inspect....

a home inspector can look further, if you need a deeper look.......
