  1. everyone should have some form of it in there diet...it's in eggs, fish, nuts etc...

    I take Fish Oil (omega 3) pills everyday...it's good for your heart and reduces depression

Everyone needs omega 3's as well as 6's and 9's so a pure, good quality combination Omega 3-6-9 is your best option.  As others have said, it's great for your heart, skin, inflammation, joints as well as lowering your cholesterol.  On top of that, omega 3 fatty acids help to remove harmful contaminants including heavy metals lead, mercury, arsenic, cadmium, dioxins and PCBs.

    Best book I ever saw about this sort of thing is Dr. Atkins - "Vita-Nutrient Solution".  Get it used off of Amazon for about nothing.  He explains what he used Omega 3 for in his practice - how much to take - what to take it with and why.

  8. Even doctor seem to know about fish oil but not much about the true reason to take it. Cod liver oil is 5 to 10 times more potent than fish oil, plus you get vitamins A, D, and a little E.
