How do i know if i will recieve a "bush " check? somebody help!?

i am 19 yrs old and work 40hrs a week and earn 9$ an hr. i live in my dads house. how will i know if i will recieve a check? i heard the economy is going down so money is being sent to everyone. how do i know if i will recieve one?

  1. You'll get iit in the mail or directly deposited into your bank account.  You did file your taxes, right?  Then you should be getting one.


  2. I wouldn't touch bush's stimulus package if I was you! Sounds dirty.

  3. The first thing is this. Did you file a 1040 tax form this year?

    If you did, you may get a check.

    It depends on how much you declared as income as well. Don't have the numbers handy.

    You would have gotten a letter from the IRS telling you to expect a check months ago had you filed and qualified at the base income level.

    I got my check over a week ago. Had to deposit it and pay more than I got back for my quarterly Federal tax payment for next year. Thanks for nothing, Bush!

  4. If you filed a return and are 19 you will receive one.  Unless, of course, you owe the Fed's money.  Then I would assume that they would put it toward your debt.  It should be direct deposited if your refund was direct deposited.  If not, you should get a surprise in the mail real soon.
