How do i know if im pushing speakers too much?

i have 6 1/2 speakers in my rear and front of my car. there are currently powered by my deck and still get a bit of bass even though mine is at the lowest. how can i tell if im pushing it too far. they have separate tweeters also. help

look on the magnet of the speakers. They should say something like 300 Watts max 150 Watts RMS.  Your deck is most likely between 40watts per channel and 80 watts per channel.  If your speakers get any kind of distortion when you turn it up try tuning your equilizer.  Mid Bass example setting 3 out of 8.   Low mid: -3 out of 8. and higher treble: 6-8 out of 8.  This will give you the best sound just be careful when playing songs with alot of bass. if the speakers crack or anything then its too much.
