How do i know if my 2 iguanas like me?

how do you now youre mother likes you. do she ignores you or maby do she run away.

same with youre pet if you groom them what is the reaction?

do they like being picked up?

do the run when you put youre hand in the cage?

They have no feelings towards humans anyway.They may seem to like you but this is only due to them recognising you as the person who feeds them.Iggy's are very bad tempered by nature and what seems like a calm devoted lizard one minute can soon change to be the opposite.The best you can do is keep them in the correct environment with the correct UV lighting and on the correct diet.This should help along way in keeping them calm and holdable.

Very rare is the iguana who is born "liking" anyone.  Making matters worse, most iguanas in the pet trade are, sadly, wild-caught.  However, with daily handling and patience, iguanas can become wonderful companions and even affectionate.  Mine follows me around and hops in my lap when I sit on my computer, and demands petting.  This is only after years of interaction, initially she ran away and wanted nothing to do with me.  Iguanas and humans may have a hard time understanding each other, but its certainly not impossible.

Lol if an ig doesnt like you you will know - inflated bodies, hissing, tail lashing, biting - its all there in the body language! Remember though that they will also do this when they dont like doing something like having a bath or being put back in their cage!
