Because when i hold my contact to the light, i see like a kinda visble line on the side of my contacts, but when i inspect it, i see no obvious tears or ripped parts like it looks fine. Is that visible line i see on the side of my contacts dirt or something?

so what is that visible line?

  1. Well when you put them in your eyes they hurt like h**l. Thats pretty much how you know unless you see the rip yourself. lol. I have contacs too.

-- Also it may be dirt so before putting them in your eyes, clean them in a multi-purpose solution for contacts, etc.

  2. try cleaning it, let it rest in the solution for a few seconds and if when you inspect it you still see that crease it is likely torn. It can scratch your cornea and or your lids and that can lead to a serious infection. It may be time to switch the contacts for a new set by the sounds of it!

  3. If that line is on both contacts and looks the same, and they feel fine when you put them in, then your contacts are made that way. Do you have astigmatism? My contacts for astigmatism have little markings on them too, lines and plus signs.
