How do i know if my dog has fleas?

brush your dogs fur if you see black dots its fleas or it could be ticks make sure the ticks don't go on you also but some medicine from a store, petshop or go to the vet if your not to sure or ask for advice.

If your dog has fleas it will be scratching a lot.  Chances are that if it has them you will be able to see them when you spread it's fur apart...

Push the hair over and look at the skin to see if there is "flea dirt" on her.  You can possibly also see actual fleas that way.  I presume she is scratching frantically.

That should be fairly obvious to the naked eye.....
