The best to truly find out is to use a signal meter. They vary widely in price and function but here are two examples

Obviously, the more expensive model will give you a better idea of the actual signal strength, but the cheap model will help you get the best signal you can, in your area, if you already have DVB-t and are just trying to get a decent image. Try googling ´DVB-T signal meter´.Barring these options, your local satellite/antenna installer probably has a pretty good signal reader/analyzer. For a small fee, they will usually come out and check signal strengths for people. Hope this helps.
