How do i know if my test was right?

ok so me and my bf have been kinda tryin to have a baby but not really we just think what happens, happens.......but see i got off my monthly like 3 weeks ago and now i have been feelin sick and havin all kinds of strang feelins, and pains.....so i took a test and the firsted one said no and my mom said it was cuz i took it so early.......so i tryed again this morning and it had one dark line and one very light line......SO WHAT DOES THAT MEAN??????

You are probably pregnant! You need to go to the doctor and start prenatal care as soon as you can.

I know it's always a bit of a shock and hard to believe for a few days. But remember that the 'unpregnant' hormone level in urine is under 5mIU, and your test identified levels above 25mIU, which is 5 times the unpregnant level. You're really pregnant honey!!!

That means your havin' a baby!!! The line was lighter probably because you are still early on and your hormones aren't really high yet.  Congrats!

Seriously though, you're far more likely to get a false negative than a false positive (some even say there are no false positives).

With that in mind, you need to call your doctor and schedule an appointment. You're going to need prenatal care for both you and your baby, as well as scheduled appointments to make sure the baby is growing properly and everything else.

Means that you are pregnant.  Congrats!  Any line whether it is faint or not, means positive.
