  1. Let me ask some questions;

    1) Is it flat screen or curved screen?

    2) Does it have the red-yellow-white imput or a single metal insert? or both?

    3) What is the resolution? 480i,480p,720i,720p,1080i,1080p?

    1) Most likely when a television is flat screen it is HD but there are some that are curved.

    2) If the television has a slit like metal imput for video it is a HDMI imput ofr HD video.

    3) If the resolution is 720i or higher it is considerd HD otherwise it is a normal TV

    Hope that this will help you...

  2. Well you can always just check your T.V. model up on Google and see if its HD capable or not

  3. Read the TV's user manual.

    No manual? Look on the TV, both in front and in back, for any identifying features, such as brand name, model number, etc. Write them down.

    Once you figure out what kind of TV you have (which you didn't tell us and apparently don't know), go to the manufacturer's web site and look it up.

    Hint: if it lacks both component and HDMI inputs, it's not HD.
