How do i know if the flat iron i get actually straightens my hair?

i first flat iron i got didnt straighten my hair it kinda made it frizzy

so how do i no if its good quality and where can i get it

and how much (maybe under $25)

honestly when it comes to flat irons the more pricy u go the better all of the walmart ones suck. especially if its under 25 because they are not ceramic (even if they claim to be) so they leave ur hair looking frizzy and feeling dry plus it damages it and gives u breakage, the best thing to do is get one from a beauty department store its wooooorth it!!! ull get the look u want and ur hair will stay healthy. trust me i learned this the hard way!!!

i wouldnt reccomend that one i THINK that's the one my friend has that doesnt work too well... i have a remington wet2strait (walmart, about 30 dollars) and it works great. i have very thick, wavy hair, and it always comes out straight and frizz-free so hopefully it will work for you. also i use a shine serum that helps with any frizz. you'll probly wanna get one of those too

Depending on the curly-ness of your hair you need to get hotter straighteners, see if they go up to 200 celsius, which should be hot enough.

Also try a hair serum or heat protecting spray to reduce frizzy-ness.
