  1. Your BMW should have an 'Avg. MPG' button on it. Mine does...

  2. The best way for any car is to reset the odometer and fill the tank when the car is pretty low on gas fill it up.  Take the miles and divide it by how many gallons you just put in.  Its not exact but its more real life.  Even the MPG buttons can be off.

If your going to cruise at a constant 60-70 Mph you should just make it with a little to spare.

  3. find out how large your gas tank is.

    if it holds 13 gallons, and you get 20 MPG, thats 13 x 20 = 260 miles

  4. You'll need to figger out yer GPH ( gallons per hour ) instead of MPG.

  5. enter the year make and model of the vehicle, will give average fuel economy for the vehicle

    17 city

    26 highway

  6. your car has a 16 gallon tank and it gets about 26 MPG on the highway and 17 MPG in the city so if the trip is mostly highway, then you should be fine but if not you may need to fill up.

  7. i have a 325 coupe. i often do 300 mile trips.

as  long as you drive nicely, you should be fine.

i have a 50 litre tank and average about 400 miles

more if i do a long motorway trip

if you think you are getting low on fuel, get more when you need some
