How do i know?

ok well im getting a credit card, and im excited because i never bought online before and i see so many cute things online that i cant buy in stores or find. but im scared that somebody will get my information from my card if i trying buying something. so how do i buy online? how would i know? and can i only buy with debit? or a credit card too? i need so much info on this! plz help! anything will help! especially if you shop online thank you!

I try to stick to well-known stores.  I would avoid small, unknown companies.  And as said, look for the secure symbol, etc.

Just don't go too crazy and accumulate more debt than you can pay off.

Make sure there is a lock symbol on the web page that your visiting. Also if you get security certificate expiration notices dont visit that page.
