  1. you can try the ice-cream test  .if you eat ice cream. and then you have stomach pains ...and gas...combined by diarrhea then you'll know you're lactose intolerant

  2. no test is really reliable for lactose intolerant testing after a  very young age. So best way is to keep a food diary for 2 weeks. Write down everything you eat. Also write down how you feel and any changes to your stomach (headaches, body aches, gas, bloating or loose stools etc). You should see a pattern developing after a week. Son is lactose intolerant and must avoid all dairy except yogurt. He uses soy milk, soy ice cream and soy cheeses. Read all labels for hidden milk added to lots of packaged food.

  3. its lactose INtolerANT

it means that you can't properly digest lactose which is in dairy. u can buy lactose free milk and pills to take with dairy, so u can eat dairy still. you can tell by stop having lactose for 2 weeks and see if u have no stomach ache, then have a glass of milk, after the glass of milk in the next 24 hours if u have bloating, gas, diarrhea, general stomach aches u might b lactose intolerant u can also tkae a test at the doctors office

  4. When you're lactose intolerant after you eat dairy such as drinking a glass of milk or eat ice cream you can get gassy and and upset stomach that could turn into diarrhea.  Most of the time you feel bloated and generally uncomfortable.

You can do an allergy self-test by eating one dairy thing (such as cheese or ice cream) at a time and see if you have any of the reactions listed.  If so, then you might want to steer clear from that product or only eat small amounts at a time.

There are products on the market that can prevent or deter these symptoms such as Lactaid or similar products.

Keep in mind that the less diary you eat over time the less you will be able to tolerate it in the future since your body stops producing the enzyme to break down the milk.

  5. The term is "lactose intolerant".

Your symptoms sound like lactose intolerance. I used to be able to eat ice cream and aged cheese, but not drink milk or eat fresh cheese. If drinking a glass of milk on an empty stomach gives you painful gas and/or diarrhea, then you probably have it.

If you give up dairy products completely, you may find that after a while you will be able to consume small amounts of them in combination with other foods. Everybody's different.
