  1. you could crack open your computer....or just download the program called CPU-Z and run it, it will give you tons of technical data about your computer, including mobo.....find it at cpuid.com

    btw i am not a spammer, I just read my post and it looked slightly spammerish, don't worry the tool is free and is considered a mainstay of many technicians software toolkit.


  2. The name of your motherboard is printed on the base of the motherboard itself (the big green or sometimes other color wafer that everything is attached to).  It's usually located near the processor socket.  You can also try downloading programs like another guy mentioned but be careful and run antivirus scan on the program before you run it just in case it has viruses.
