How do i know what kind of bike i have?

Question

I got a bike from a friend. That had his dad chromed for him. But he forgets what kind of bike it is. Is there a website that could tell me by the serial number. I also live in Ontario Canada.

try typing it in on google and see if something happens otherwise take it to a bike store
