How do i know what ohm load my subs and amp are?

Question

how do i know what my two 4 ohms subs are when i wire them, do i look at the 2 ohm wattage on the amp or 4 ohms or 1 ohm?

If you know that they are 4 ohm subs.... single voice coil, and you have them wire together... you have either a 2ohm load or an 8 ohm load depending upon weather you wired them in series or parallel.  Series you add them together, parallel you divide in half. (if both subwoofers have the same impedance)

If you have a 2 channel amp, and you wired one to each channel. then you have 2 seperate 4 ohm loads.

The subwoofers are what decides the load on the amp.
