  1. First off, don't buy jammers. Jammers actually increase drag. Yes they cover more of your body, but you need to suck it up and wear a regular speedo (brief). They are cheaper and you can see they are worn by elite swimmers. Drag suits are usually bigger suits, some with pockets and holes, that catch the water to increase resistance and drag. Wear this during practice so that you will feel faster during meets. And to size a pair, its all about feel. You need to try them on. For me, and most swimmers, the smallest size you can fit into without completely destroying yourself is best. The smaller the suit, the less drag in competition. Maybe a bigger one for practice, smaller one for meet. If you are competing on a high level, you should look into FASTSKIN suits. Hope this helps!

  2. ok this is from a girls perspective...

jammers are the worst thing i have ever seen on a guy. they are so ugly i just want to throw up all over them...get a speedo, they are hotter and they go faster. and if you do by any chance get the jammer you can have a drag because they are made for speedos only i think.. but if they do make them for jammers...HAHAHA! that would just look retarded! Oh and jammers will NOT improve your swimming. we had this thing at practice where the same guy had on a speedo and raced himself in the 100 freestyle and  then he put on a jammer and raced him self in the 100 freestyle and it took off 2 1/2 seconds! and this dude is fast he was the fastest on the team
